Microsoft has announced that Tech Ed will be changing things up a little this year. The biggest event of the year for IT Pros and Developers will be moving to a two week format. Week 1 will be focuses solely for an audience of developers, while Week 2 will be entirely geared for IT Professionals. Both weeks will include the usual keynotes, etc.  I think this new format could be good if we see more repeat sessions, and more networking with people of each respective background. On the flip side I know a lot of people who straddle the IT Pro and Developer fence. This could mean them having to choose which week to attend. Tech Ed 2008 for IT Professionals will be held June 10th - 13th. Check out the official Tech Ed website for more details.
