Bob Muglia, the senior vice president of Microsoft's Server and Tools Business, announced the public beta release of System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2008. SCVMM 2008 will be the next release of Microsoft's virtual machine management software. The most interesting part of this announcement is that it will manage VMware ESX Servers as well as Windows Server Virtualization (WSV) servers.
